Join us as we tour the Waste Transfer Station to observe where our recycling goes after we place it in the trash can!
- Bus: Take the MTD Yellow/Yellow Hopper to Lot E14 west of State Farm Center. From the bus stop walk west to Oak St. then one block south to St. Mary’s. Turn right/west. The facility entrance is the first driveway one block west on your right.
- Bike: Bike parking is available on the east side of the site.
- Car: Please car pool if possible as parking is limited at the facility. Please park facing the east fence as far from the entrance as possible to allow trucks to enter and exit freely.
Remember to wear close-toed shoes (and they will probably get a little dirty) and dress for the weather. About half of the tour is outside.
