A Year of Creative Writers

Intended for students from across the campus, Inside Scoop conversations invite Illinois undergraduates to engage with the exciting work conducted by scholars whose work helps us understand what it means to be human in a world of rapidly shifting global complexities. These sessions offer an opportunity for all interested undergrads, no matter their majors, to engage with creative minds in the humanities. Playwright, actor, and educator Anna Deavere Smith is the founding director of the Institute on the Arts and Civic Dialogue at NYU where she is also university professor at Tisch School of the Arts. Open to all undergraduates. Registration required.

Registration for this event is now full. If you would like to be added to the wait list, please register here by February 7th, 2020. We will contact students if space becomes available. Lunch will be served.
