The mission of this workshop is aimed at providing high school educators exposure to applied real-world applications of traditional STEM principles as means of supplementing current and/or new pedagogical practices for high school classrooms. Together, teachers and faculty will carry out hands-on investigations to provide educators training in research areas that can be used to modify and/or meet their classroom needs, and to supplement the state Next Generation Sciences Standards.
