This presentation will:
- Provide an accessible introduction to and overview of recent thinking and practice on the politics of service delivery and institutional transformation and the need for more adaptive approaches to development work.
- Introduce a series of analytical and programming tools to help students, researchers and practitioners of development think and work in more politically-informed ways on service delivery and associated topics.
- Start to think about how these lessons and tools can best be applied to institutional change and capacity development in agricultural systems and extension services.
A reception will follow.
Although this lecture is part of the Fifth Annual International Food Security Symposium at Illinois, you do not need to register for the symposium to attend this lecture.
