We are excited to invite college students to apply for a one-day GitHub Education Workshop as part of our Tech Connect Series, hosted by DPI. GitHub Education helps bridge the gap between coding education and tech careers, and it’s available globally for free. Join us to explore the world of GitHub, connect with a Github expert and network with other college students passionate about technology. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to become a GitHub Campus Expert and discover ways to grow and lead the tech community on your campus. Don’t miss out—apply now!
GitHub is a cloud-based platform used for hosting code and facilitating collaboration through Git, a version control system. It allows developers to store, share, and work together on projects, ensuring code is versioned, transparent, and accessible.
To qualify for the Github workshop students must:
- Be an undergraduate enrolled in college or university, including community college (Bachelor's and Associates)
- Graduated from a Illinois high school AND/OR attending an Illinois college/university

- Workshop will be on Friday, April 10th, from 12:00pm-4:00pm
- Lunch served: 1:00pm-2:00pm
