Women in Engineering

Social crafting is a wellness and community-building practice that brings people together to de-stress and socialize over arts and craft activities. These events are open, drop-in sessions. WIE (Women in Engineering) provides art supplies and instructions for several crafting options, including an opportunity to create work that contributes to a collaborative community art piece. This semester, we will be creating textile collage “quilt squares” that build on the theme, “I am an Engineer AND…”. We will combine the quilt squares into public art pieces that highlight how awesome, diverse, talented, and interesting our students are in the WIE community! Supplies and instructions provided.
