TITLE: Introduction to the Thresholding Greedy Algorithm in Banach Spaces
ABSTRACT: Over the past 25 years, one of the most prominent algorithms in the field of Nonlinear Approximation Theory in Banach spaces has been the Thresholding Greedy Algorithm. In this talk, we will introduce the algorithm and study the main types of convergence associated with it. In addition, some open problems in the area will be presented.
