This content-rich seminar will introduce aspects of East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) artistic and literary traditions to teachers of grades K-12. The seminar will include hand-on activities such as art projects and analysis of literary and visual primary sources as well as facilitate learning about East Asian traditions as they fit into Art, Culture, Language, World Literature, and World History contexts. We will also devote time to pedagogy, best practices, classroom applications, and resources.
