This workshop is a 2-hour session that introduces MPI, the standard framework for parallel computing in distributed-memory systems. It will explore the basic concepts of message passing, including domain decomposition, collective communications, and several MPI library functions. With granted access to a supercomputing cluster, participants will be able to exercise these concepts by parallelizing a machine learning model application. Register by 10/23 and find more info on the registration webpage (link above).
