SPIN events

NCSA staff and faculty affiliates are invited to submit research projects to the Academic Year 2020-21 Students Pushing Innovation (SPIN) internship program. If you would like to hire a SPIN intern for this session (August 24 , 2020 – May 5, 2021), please provide a short description of your project, including a list of specific skills students need to have, and indicate if you have available funds to pay your intern yourself or if you would like the SPIN program to provide funding for your project. Academic year interns are expected to work five hours a week for 16 weeks each semester. The SPIN program will host the SPIN Open House on Wednesday, April 8 from 3-5pm in the NCSA atrium to advertise the projects. When submitting your project description, please also indicate if you will be attending the SPIN Open House to meet with the students. Your research proposals should be submitted by email to the Education Coordinator, Olena Kindratenko no later than April 3, 2020.
