In this keynote lecture, Barbara McQuade will explore the themes of her book Attack from Within, offering a timely and urgent analysis of how disinformation campaigns both foreign and domestic are eroding trust in democratic institutions. She will examine the legal, political, and social dimensions of disinformation, and propose actionable strategies for individuals, communities, and institutions to defend truth and strengthen democracy.
