Britt Carlson is the Associate Director of the STEM Program Implementation in the ACES Office of Research. In her role, she contributes to research development through supporting initiatives focused on broadening participation and impact. This includes supporting research development pathways such as undergraduate research or bridge programs, mentorship development, graduate student and postdoc outreach and professional development, and expanding collaboration partnerships, including connections minority-serving institutions for meaningful and mutually beneficial research collaborations. Britt will provide an overview benefits of expanding collaboration networks and how faculty can navigate collaborations with minority serving institutions.
