Hosted by the IIRER evaluation team, select partners of the SWTCIE Illinois and Illinois Pathways to Partnership projects, including SWTCIE Illinois employment specialists, Centers of Independent Living staff and SWTCIE Illinois participants, are invited to participate in a training event to learn how to effectively administer the Personal Outcome Scale (POS), which will be used for quality of life assessment in the evaluation of both research projects.
The POS is an instrument developed to measure the quality of life of individuals. It provides a structured way to conduct conversations and collect data on various aspects of a person's life, such as well-being, interpersonal relations, self-determination and personal development.
This training provides a comprehensive introduction to the POS, including practical exercises and the use of the digital tool, QOLzone.
There are two sessions of this two-day training: May 6-7 and May 7-8.
