Abstract: Causal discovery aims to uncover the underlying causal relationships among variables from observational data. Recent advances in tabular foundation models have opened up new possibilities for learning causal structures through pretraining. In this talk, we will discuss foundation models for causal discovery, drawing on our research in the theory of causal structure identification and the pretraining of foundation models.

Bio: Yikang Chen and Zhengkang Guan are PhD students at Zhejiang University. Their research focuses on causal inference and causal discovery, and they are currently working on developing foundation models for causal discovery.
