Join ACES Office of International Programs for a discussion with author Roger Thurow about his new book “Abiding Hunger: An American Paradox.” Roger Thurow is a journalist and author who writes about the persistence of hunger and malnutrition in our world as well as global agriculture and food policy. He was a reporter at the Wall Street Journal for 30 years. He is, with Scott Kilman, the author of Enough: Why the World’s Poorest Starve in an Age of Plenty, which won the Harry Chapin Why Hunger book award, as well as three other books on world hunger. He is a recipient of Action Against Hunger’s Humanitarian Award.
