Please join us to celebrate the International Day of the Basque Language with a Lecture, which will be on Friday, December 5, at 1:00 pm in Lucy Ellis Lounge (1080 LCLB). The International Day of the Basque Language is celebrated on December 3 to honor and promote the Basque language (Euskera). To commemorate this event, we are hosting Dr. Eukene Franco Landa (University of Miami), who will present on “The Social Life of the Basque Ergative -k: Authenticity, Legitimacy and Proficiency.”
