TITLE: Connecting Scales and Knowledge in Practice, Research, and Teaching

From intimate, small-scale projects to large, complex urban interventions. Drawing on a diverse range of work—from ephemeral installations to permanent architectural designs—the lecture will explore how these scales are interwoven with the passage of time and the shifting nature of permanence in architecture. Highlighting the process of scaling up—from individual, detailed elements to the expansive, dynamic fabric of the city. By connecting theoretical frameworks, hands-on practice, and teaching methodologies, this session will explore how we navigate the tension between the temporary and the lasting.
