Molecular and Integrative Physiology (MIP) Department Seminar Series

Dr. Kuei-Pin Huang, Ph.D. is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of California, Irvine. His proposed research: My initial research program will explore how extrinsic factors, such as inflammation and drugs, as well as sensory cues influence the medullary neurons integrate peripheral signals and regulate food intake. These research
programs will generate preliminary data for preparing the NIH and foundational research grants. The long-term objective is to understand how descending signals from higher-order brain regions modulate autonomic efferent pathways and digestive organs.
