Title: Moduli of abelian varieties and the Hilbert scheme of points of the plane

Abstract: I will explain a surprising connection which links the intersection theory of the moduli space of abelian varieties to the higher genus Gromov-Witten theory of the Hilbert scheme of points of the plane.
