Judge Thapar will be speaking about his book, "The People's Justice: Clarence Thomas and the Constitutional Stories that define him", about the jurisprudence of Justice Thomas. Amul Thapar is a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He grew up in Toledo, Ohio and is the son of immigrants from India. A graduate of Boston College and UC Berkeley Law School, he served as a U.S. attorney and district court judge before his appointment to the appellate court in 2017.
