Agricultural & Biological Engineering focuses on the design of complex living systems. ABEs feed and power the world by combining engineering, technology, and scientific skills to improve agricultural, food, energy, water, and environmental systems. Work ranges from the molecular to the ecosystem level with a sustainability mindset.
At the Saving FACE camp, rising 10th-12th graders will explore the nexus of food, energy, and water systems through hands-on labs and demonstrations, participate in individual and team activities, as well as competitions, to investigate the discipline of agricultural and biological engineering, and use the knowledge gained from field trips, labs, and lectures to complete a team project focused on sustainability.
Registration for summer 2023 is full.
