Feeling like an “imposter” is a common feeling as a doctoral student, and particularly so for those who are first-generation and/or from minoritized backgrounds. In this session, we will have an honest conversation about how and why we might feel this way, all the while questioning the very basis of the “imposter syndrome” itself, with a structural approach to understanding higher education.
