Title: On stable Kim-forking and rosy theories
Abstract: During the last two decades, the classes of NSOP1 and rosy theories have been intensely studied as generalizations of the class of simple theories. In each of these classes, we have a canonical choice of independence relation whose properties characterize the class. In this talk, we will give a partial answer to a question posed by Byungham Kim in 2021 and show that, assuming the stable Kim-forking conjecture holds, any NSOP1 rosy theory must be simple.
