A Riemann surface of negative Euler characteristic can be
decomposed into pairs of pants. I will present joint work with Nicolò
Sibilla reconstructs the Fukaya category of a surface from several
copies of the Fukaya category of the pair of pants, both for open
surfaces and for closed ones.
