Title: Limiting distributions in 2d random growth models
Abstract: In the last two decades, there has been a rapid and significant development in understanding the universal law behind a family of two-dimensional random growth models. This family is called the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality class. It is believed, and partially proved, that all the models in the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality class have the same limiting distributions after a long time. In this talk, I will discuss the limiting distributions arising from this universality class and present my results in this direction.
