Prof. Heemstra is the Chair and Charles Allen Thomas Professor of Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her Ph.D from the University of Illinois with Prof. Jeffery Moore. She will lead a discussion based workshop for our graduate students entitled "The Importance of Communication: Finding Great Mentors and Becoming One". Light Refreshments will be provided.
