Come visit Siebel Center for Design’s newest Moonlight Bay Resident, Design Seedling, during Welcome Week to experience first-hand how textiles are designed in this immersive challenge!
Have you ever wondered what it takes to build something great from scratch? Fresh off a design trip to Peru’s Sacred Valley, Design Seedlings is taking over Moonlight Bay with “Can You Rebuild It? Design Seedling Challenge”. Stop by to test your memory and sharp eyes in a game. Just scan a woven pattern, memorize it in 5 seconds, and try to rebuild it step by step on your phone.
Afterward, you can see the real-world stories behind the artwork. Before you leave, head over to the interactive stamping station to make your own custom print to take home.
Whether you study engineering, art, business, just love a good puzzle, or want to make a custom print, challenge your brain and see if you have what it takes!
No Registration Required. Stop by between 8am-10pm to experience the challenge.
About the Resident: Design Seedling is a design lab that connects smart university students with the business world. Led by an industry veteran, the team helps companies build apps and products that are easy, safe, and fun for real people to use. Through paid, hands-on project work and professional coaching, the lab focuses on giving students the real-world skills they need to start successful careers. Fresh off a design trip to Peru’s Sacred Valley, Design Seedlings is dedicated to showing the hidden work behind design and proving the value of user testing.
