Early Learning Events in Illinois

The Illinois State Board of Education Prevention Initiative Forum will be held in person from April 2-3, 2025. Stronger Together: Building Connections, Strengthening Systems

Intended Audience: Illinois State Board of Education Prevention Initiative Supervisors & Administrators

Forum Objectives:

1. Build Connections: Foster meaningful relationships among supervisors and administrators of Prevention Initiative Programs to strengthen collaboration and enhance statewide support networks.
2. Strengthen Systems: Provide participants with tools, strategies, and resources to improve program infrastructure, enhance service delivery, and promote model fidelity across PI programs.
3. Enhance Leadership: Offer professional development opportunities focused on leadership growth, such as change management and reflective practice, to empower program leaders in driving sustainable success.
4. Promote Well-being: Highlight the importance of well-being for both staff and families by integrating sessions and plenaries focused on empathy, resilience, and self-care practices.
5. Encourage Innovation: Inspire attendees to explore creative solutions and best practices to address challenges and adapt to the evolving needs of the children and families they serve.
