The Level 2: Analysis & Reflection of Safety & Security Abroad for Experienced Program Leaders guides program leaders (faculty, staff, or students leading programs) in preparing for the safest possible experience abroad. This workshop guides leaders through various case studies to deeper reflect on their past experiences. Topics include: student accommodations, incident response, Gallagher International Insurance, behavior issues, ect. This workshop also provides a unique opportunity to discuss questions or concerns with our staff and other program leaders. Those who lead, or assist, short-term education abroad or other University-related travel abroad for students must attend at least one workshop a year.
