Dear School of Architecture students (and their parents if interested):
I am very pleased to invite all of you to join a Zoom presentation of the Barcelona Program, the School’s flagship yearlong overseas program that is more than half-a-century old.
The presentation will be led by Barcelona Program Director, Prof. Alejandro Lapunzina, and the Program’s Coordinator Ms. Magali Veronelli (also in charge of students’ housing and well-being).
Both will explain in detail all the aspects of the Barcelona Program, from its curricular and calendar structures to student housing, costs, and everything else that makes this program a unique and special opportunity for all students enrolled in the Illinois School of Architecture.
The presentation will last approximately 40/45 minutes, with the remaining time (additional 40/45 minutes) left for a Q&A session.
Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students are eligible to participate in the Barcelona Program. Therefore, this meeting is of special interest to Sophomores, Juniors, and Grads (current and prospective). However, Freshmen are also invited to attend.
Students’ parents are also invited, particularly the parents of students who are applying to participate in the 2026-2027 edition of the Program (next School year).
Alejandro Lapunzina and Magali Veronelli will be ready to answer all the questions students and their parents may have about the program’s operation.
