Towards Curve Counting Invariants II: Donaldson–Thomas invariant and moduli of (semi-)stable sheaves
Speaker: Zijing Ye
Abstract: Unlike GW invariants which count the number of maps from a curve to a given space, DT invariants count directly the number of curves in the space. So naturally, we should consider the moduli of ideal sheaves that gives the curve. In this talk, I will focus on the construction of the moduli space of (semi-)stable sheaves as a GIT quotient, which would ultimately give us the desired moduli for ideal sheaves.
