Finding meaningful work experiences for students is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to preparing them for postsecondary success. Establishing an appropriate and effective instructional plan for students is essential to make their work-based learning experiences successful. This workshop will provide transition educators and staff with an understanding of how to plan instruction across a range of work-based learning settings using evidence-based practices. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of effective instructional planning and how to promote workplace skill development, generalization, and maintenance.

Participants may earn up to three ISBE-approved professional development hours for attending this workshop.

Cost is $35/person and includes lunch. Space is limited. Registration is required by Feb. 14, 5 p.m. CT.
