Analysis of a subset of three SPT SMGs
We present Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Array (ALMA) followup of three strongly lensed submillimeter galaxies selected in the South Pole Telescope 2500 square degree SZ survey. The observations consist of CO(7-6) and [CI](2-1) spectral features. These observations present an opportunity to explore the physical properties of the galaxies' interstellar medium including: the gas mass; star formation rate; and hence the depletion time, as well and the morphology of the lensed source. Preliminary lens modeling is done on the three sources to examine if the sources resolve into multiple galaxies. The talk concludes with future directions of the research.
