Join us for an afternoon of presentations, conversations and more—a showcase of graduate student work in the humanities and arts and the opportunity to explore resources available to graduate students in humanities-based graduate education.

Don’t forget to visit the HRI table at the resource fair to learn more about all we do to support graduate students on and off campus!  And do join us for a culminating reception/happy hour at 5 p.m.

All activities below will take place in Levis Faculty Center.

SCHEDULE

2:00–5:00 p.m.

Resource Tables - Room 300
Visit with representatives from a variety of campus organizations to learn all about the programs and resources they offer for graduate students in the arts and humanities.  

2:00-3:30 p.m.

Writers Workshop Live  – Rooms 304 and 307
Note: Advance registration is required for the Writers Workshop consultations. 30-minute sessions with Writers Workshop counselors. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.

2:00-2:50 p.m.

Lightning Round of Graduate Research Projects – Room 300
Hear graduate students from a range of disciplines in the humanities and arts present their work in 5 minutes or less, followed by a Q&A. Featuring:

Public Humanities in Action Panel – Room 300* 
Public Humanities is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing arenas in colleges and universities today. Come and hear about what projects in this field look like first-hand from humanities practitioners at the University of Illinois. Short presentations followed by Q&A. Featuring:
