Leading Through Adversity with Kay Gomes Saul

Kay Gomes Saul, Gies MBA student and career project manager will present on “Leading Through Adversity.” This session includes lessons learned on a journey of becoming a better leader from the perspective of an immigrant and woman of color who was diagnosed with a progressive eye disease in college, which resulted in blindness before receiving two donor transplants to restore her sight. Learn how her experiences shaped her approach to leadership in career, education, and personal life and how she plans to leverage that experience to help women and other POC launch successful businesses.
