Building on Olmeca’s artistic practice and the themes of his campus visit, this moderated dialogue and Q&A explores the intersections of art, cultural memory, resistance, and transnational racial and social justice. Together, participants will consider connections among local and global struggles for justice, the impact of histories of colonization and displacement, and the ways art can challenge dominant narratives, foster dialogue, and inspire collective action.
