The University of Illinois Police Department's Community Outreach And Support Team (COAST) will speak and answer questions about scam detection and prevention. Sadly, campus community members are targeted each semester and have been the victims of elaborate scams. Many of these scams specifically target international students and their family members, creating a sense of urgency and fear about visa and immigration statuses.
