Title: “Overcoming the Challenges of COVID-19 at Argonne National Laboratory”
ABSTRACT: In this session, we’ll talk about Argonne and the broader DOE National Laboratory System, the role of the Worker Safety and Health Group at the lab, and how the Laboratory’s general response to COVID aligned with our Work Planning and Control processes and unique expertise. Our examination of the broader COVID response will touch on restrictions and controls, PPE and facility preparation, virus research, workplace improvement, and continuous improvement as we learned more about how the pandemic altered our workplace and everyday lives.
