This free series presented by the Earth Science and Environmental Sustainability (ESES) program in the School of Earth, Society & Environment will feature two movies depicting the triumph of the human spirit in battling society's greatest challenges.
- The first film, at 5 p.m., is "Erin Brokovich," a biographical drama about a mother who uncovers a major water contamination case against Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
- The 7:30 p.m. screening will feature "Chasing Ice," an Academy Award-nominated documentary that uses time-lapse photography to capture a multi-year record of the world's changing glaciers.
