On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the SSC is honored to host Donald J. Wuebbles for a speaker event where he will share his insights and expertise! Wuebbles is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois Urban-Champaign and the Director of Climate Science for Earth Knowledge, Inc. He is an expert in the physics and chemistry affecting the Earth’s climate and in the resulting risks and societal responses associated with the changing climate. Wuebbles' lecture, “Our Changing Climate: Growing Our Economy While Responding to the Science,” invites all students to attend, listen, and engage with questions.
