Throughout this training, participants will discover the power of collaborative support and best practices for talking to children about an unexpected loss. Additionally, participants will acquire best practices for recognizing and regulating trauma symptoms and triggers and incorporating resilience-building stress management techniques with a grieving child. Moreover, participants will develop strategies for actively listening and validating the child’s experience as well as offering reassurance, validation, and emotional support.
