Abstract: Are you curious about what the COVID-19 internship landscape looks like? Amy Fruehling, Director of Engineering Career Services, and Jenny Kim, Assistant Director of Talent at the Research Park, will provide an overview of what students can expect during these trying times, plus share strategies and resources to help students obtain an internship right here on campus at the Research Park and beyond.
Speaker Bios:
Amy Frueling: Leveraging 20+ years of experience in marketing and career services, Amy, Director of Engineering Career Services, helps Grainger Engineers find their purpose and achieve desired career goals. She manages global employer partnerships, alumni connections, and network of professionals who contribute to career exploration, experience and employment for entry level college talent.
Jenny Kim: As the Assistant Director for Talent, Jenny Kim supports the growth of the workforce in the Park by connecting corporations and startups with student and full-time professional talent. She works directly with clients and coordinates recruiting events and programming to facilitate these connections. She also does outreach with campus units to ensure students across campus are aware of all the great job and internship opportunities at Research Park.
