Interested in amateur radio or RF in general? Come check us out in front of ECEB on the North Quad, where the Synton Amateur Radio Club will be participating in ARRL School Club Roundup! We will be setting up a portable antenna and radio and making contacts with other school amateur radio clubs across the country.
School Club Roundup is a nationwide amateur radio event hosted by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) is the national membership association for Amateur Radio operators in the US. The League represents Amateur Radio interests to regulatory bodies, provides technical advice and assistance to Amateur Radio enthusiasts and supports a number of educational programs throughout the country. The ARRL also hosts various operating events and contests such as School Club Roundup.
School Club Roundup specifically is the largest school club operating event in the US, where every amateur radio club affiliated with a school gets on the air and makes as many contacts as possible with each other! Participation ranges from elementary school clubs all the way up to the university level. Come visit our table on the North Quad and learn more about amateur radio!
