Negotiating salaries and raises can be a nerve-racking experience that deters people from broaching the subject altogether, leaving them dissatisfied and filled with resentment. In the workplace, negotiation biases relating to race and gender are real problems that require proactive solutions to level the playing field.

Women@NCSA invites you to attend our free event on Wednesday, June 8, from 2–3 p.m. CST via Zoom to hear from our esteemed speaker Beatrice Perkins, Founder and CEO of Brand Excitement and Marketing Director of the College Board in "Prove Your Value: Successful Negotiation at Work & Beyond."

Here, we'll introduce attendees to logical, actionable tools to recognize and claim what it takes to get what they deserve. Using traditional and new media practices, this session teaches what's working now, even in a down economy, and how to leverage their time and talents without becoming overwhelmed or falling prey to imposter syndrome.
