A properly designed database makes it easier to work with up-to-date, accurate information. Investing the time required to learn the principles of good relational database design ensures that you will end up with a database that meets your needs and can easily accommodate change. This workshop provides guidelines for planning an Access database. You will learn how to decide what information you need, how to divide that information into the appropriate tables and fields, and how to relate tables to each other.
Prerequisite: completion of Access Getting Started or equivalent experience.
