The Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute is offering the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Grant Writing Series virtually during the Spring 2022 semester. The series, led by faculty with a history of success with NIH proposals, prepares junior faculty to submit their first R01 or other individual investigator proposals to the NIH. Each participant will write and compile an advanced draft of an NIH proposal that has been reviewed by both their peers and an experienced faculty mentor. Selected participants will be asked to attend the six lecture sessions on Tuesdays, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m., beginning February 1, 2022, and participate in a peer review workshop. The application is open to faculty in years 2+ of their career. A letter of support from your department is required for consideration. Applications are due Dec. 1, 2021.
