Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrates the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Mexico. The feast commemorates the appearance of the Virgin Mary to a Mexican man in 1531. The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is of particular imporance to Mexican American and other communities from Central and South Americas. This may be observed with colorful processions and parades.
