Creating a Positive Learning Climate
Today’s learners come to us with a variety of experiences, perspectives, and expectations that differ from previous generations. This presentation introduces an educational approach designed to respect those differences and promote more positive and satisfying learner-educator interactions. Participants will learn the foundational invitational principles and strategies for incorporating the approach into educational encounters.

- Identify the three foundational principles of the educational approach
- Describe the five elements of the TORIC framework
- Select one invitational strategy to apply in an upcoming learning encounter
