As institutions of higher education celebrate Native American Heritage Month, additional efforts can be made to improve the campus climate and retention of Native students. Inspired by Safe Zone training, Indigenous Zone by Byron Tsabetsaye provides strategies and best practices for how to build the strength of programs to create and facilitate Native student belonging and cultural safety. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1pm.
