Join us for the 10th Annual Illinois Interfaith Conference from Tuesday, March 23 to Wednesday March 24 hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Illinois Interfaith Conference is a FREE opportunity for students, staff, faculty, and community members - as well as student and interfaith leaders from across the Midwest - to join together to engage in critical questions about racial justice and interfaith cooperation. Participants must register for each day to receive the Zoom link to attend. Please note any accessibility needs in the registration forms.

This year's program will focus on racial justice and interfaith engagement, beginning with a keynote talk from interfaith leader and civil rights activist Valarie Kaur. Valarie will also present a workshop on Wednesday about her Revolutionary Love project.

In addition to the Tuesday night keynote, Wednesday sessions will include:

10:30am Screening of Interfaith Freedom Seder hosted by Rabbi Alan Cook from Sinai Temple

11:30am Revolutionary Love Workshop with Valarie Kaur

1:00pm Panel Conversation with Faith & Student Leaders on Religion & Racism

2:30pm Lessons from Student and Community Organizers on Addressing Racial Justice in Faith Communities

3:45pm Closing

The Illinois Interfaith Conference 2021 is hosted by the Illinois Interfaith Planning Committee and the C-U Interfaith Alliance. The Illinois Interfaith Planning Committee is a partnership between Interfaith in Action (RSO), the University of Illinois Diversity & Social Justice Education, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, University Housing, the University YMCA, and Illini Hillel/Cohen Center for Jewish Life. The conference is funded in part by the Healing Illinois grant from the United Way of Champaign County and the C-U Interfaith Alliance.
